Hospital evacuated due to burning smell
9:33pm Thursday 3rd May 2012 in Cotswolds news By Ian Craig
THE NORTH Cotswold Community Hospital had to be evacuated this afternoon after a strong smell of burning was reported.
Two fire engines from Stow-on-the-Wold fire station and one from Moreton-in-Marsh attended the call at just before 4.30pm this afternoon.
By the time they arrived, the fire, which is believed to have been in one of the physiotherapy machines, was already out.
The firefighters spent around 40 minutes making sure the area was safe.
