COMMUNITY station Corinium Radio takes to the airwaves again next month with a summer-themed holiday writing competition.
Presenter Linda Dyson will host ‘Write Out Loud’ where aspiring writers can read their contributions on air.
The competition is divided into four age categories of primary age, 11 to 14, 15 to 18 and adults.
Poems can be up to 40 lines, stories for the first two age categories up to 500 words, with up to 1,000 words for the 15-18 and adults categories.
Linda said entries could be anything to do with summer but must be unpublished work.
The show will feature creative writing teacher Rona Laycock who will give feedback to those whose work is read out.
Entries must be submitted before June 15 and those which are chosen to be featured will be invited to read their work out on July 3.
Corinium Radio will broadcast on 87.7FM from July 2-4.
Entries, including name, age and address on an unattached title page, should be sent to Writing Competition, 4 Wood View, Frampton Mansell, Glos GL6 8JE.
