FAIRFORD has crowned its festival queen for the year.
Victoria Hatch, 10, took the honour with Rebecca Chase, aged nine, becoming festival princess.
Victoria was chosen by judges on Monday at the Bull Hotel, Fairford.
Organiser Jan Cory said: "Everyone did so well, I am so pleased. Victoria looked delighted when she found out she was chosen to be queen."
Poppy Young and Charlotte Rhymer, 7, will be ladies-in-waiting while Emily Griffith, sisters Bodicea and Zena Preece-Smith (corr) and Katie Upshurn will be flower girls.
Cutbacks to this year's town festival means some responsibilities traditionally undertaken by the festival queen have been scrapped. But another major duty - the switching on of the Christmas lights in December - will go head.
