THEATRE Ink is daring to bare all with its latest production, The Full Monty, at The Barn Theatre in Cirencester from June 27.

The musical will kick-start Theatre Ink's 10th anniversary celebrations.

Based on the motion picture, but set in Buffalo in the USA, The Full Monty, is filled with honest affection, engaging melodies and the most highly anticipated closing number of any show.

A 10 time Tony Award nominee, The Full Monty musical is written by the powerhouse team of Terrence McNally (Ragtime) and David Yazbek (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels).

While spying on their wives at a Girls' Night Out, a group of unemployed steelworkers sees how much they enjoy watching male strippers.

Jealous, out of work and feeling emasculated, the men come up with a bold and unclothed way to make some quick cash.

In preparing, they find themselves extremely exposed; not merely physically but emotionally.

As they conquer their fears, self-consciousness and prejudices, the men come to discover that they're stronger as a group, and the strength that they find in each other gives them the individual courage to 'let it go'.

Theatre Ink is welcoming some new faces to the show including three of their six lead characters with one of them making his first ever appearance on stage.

Along with the many many laughs guaranteed, Theatre Ink also has a serious message to get out there and are raising money throughout show week for some very notable charities.

This year the group lost a dear friend, JR Dawson, who last appeared on stage with them for Titanic in 2014.

JR's daughter Tabby and son-in-law, Andy, continue to work with the Theatre Ink, who will be donating proceeds to Dorothy House Hospice Care, who provide compassionate care and support for people in our community with a life-limiting illness.

The group has also been very closely affected by one of their own being diagnosed with breast cancer, and so have chosen to support Cotswold Breast Cancer Now- the UK’s largest breast cancer research charity, dedicated to funding research into this devastating disease.

Finally, as this show is essentially, all about the boys, it is only fitting that proceeds also go Orchid - the UK’s leading charity working a save men’s lives from male cancer through a range of support services, education and awareness campaigns and a pioneering research programme.

The show runs from Wednesday, June 27-Saturday, June 30 at 7.30pm at The Barn Theatre, Cirencester. There is also a Ladies Night on Thursday 28.

Tickets are £14 (£12 concessions or £16 on the door) and can be purchased at theatreink.co.uk.

Charity donations can also be made to Theatre Ink's crowdfunding page -justgiving.com/crowdfunding/theatreinkthefullmonty
