Mr. H.P Stone's letter to the SNJ raised concerns over the lack of benches in Cirencester.
Discussing his situation, Mr Stone said: "I have recently come out of hospital and so I have limited mobility."
Because of this I am required to walk at gradually increasing distances".
Living in the Beeches Estate, Mr Stone went to complete his exercises in the area.
However, upon trying to complete them he noticed very few places to sit and rest.
In the past, Mr Stone had worked for Cirencester Town Council at which point there were benches on most the estates.
"We used to go down and clean them regularly," added Mr Stone.
Additionally, the elderly population is increasing with many of those having limited mobility.
Therefore, Mr Stone argues the strategic placing of some simple benches is required.
