VISITORS very welcome to Kemble Village Hall on Thursday, April 19 at 7pm to hear Alan Nix who will presenting a talk on The Motor Trade. Entrance £5 to include a cuppa and biscuits. 

CONTACT Judith on 770301 to see if there are any last minute tickets for the charity film night with a two course supper plus the screening of Paddington 2 for Friday, April 20. Proceeds will be for the James Hopkins Trust a local children's charity. 

THIS Saturday Kemble church will be open during the morning from 9.30am until midday for people to see what the Parochial Church Council are planning to install in the way of audio visual equipment. Mock-ups and other images will assist in visualising the scheme. Some members of the PCC will be on hand to receive any comments and discuss the scheme. 

SUNDAY, April 22 services will be held in Tarlton an early morning Holy Communion at 8am. A Benefice service will be held in Kemble at 10am with a guest speaker Graham Harris  from Cirencester Signpost. 

This Sunday, April 22 representatives from the Kemble and district Royal British Legion and Women's Section will be attending the annual Anzac Service in Leighterton Cemetery a few miles from Tetbury.

Dignitaries and cadets from across the County and representatives from Australia and New Zealand will form up at the primary school at and march behind a band through the village to the cemetery for the commencement at 3pm. The day honours the 24 members of the Australian Flying corps who died whilst training at Leighterton Airfield during World War one. The children of Leighterton primary school read the roll call and lay sprigs of Rosemary on the graves. It is a most moving occasion and everyone is welcome to attend.  

REPRESENTATIVES from Kemble will be attending the annual Royal Order of St. George - St. George's Day Service in Gloucester Cathedral on Monday, April 23 evening to especially mark the 40th anniversary of the Gloucestershire branch.
