The man was caught on CCTV in Subway in Cirencester
A MAN has been arrested in connection with a robbery at Subway in Cirencester in which was an axe was believed to have been used.
Tri-Force Police located the suspect in Gloucester and made the arrest yesterday afternoon.
The robbery happened shortly before 8.30pm on Saturday, January 20, when a man entered the branch in Brewery Court armed with what was believed to have been an axe.
The man threatened staff and demanded cash, according to the police.
He made off with the cash in a blue bag and left in the direction of the Brewery car park.
