WELL known Intelligent Horsemanship couple Adam Goodfellow and Nicole Golding will be leaving their stables this year.

The pair, who run a yard in the Cotswolds, have been given six months notice as their new landlord, who is the son of their previous one, wishes to move into the property.

Adam and Nicole studied with the famous Monty Roberts and Kelly Marks are set to lose their business and home of 20 years after the son of their current landlord took over the tenancy.

They also founded one of the first places in the world where Roberts' methods are used. In fact, the American visited the yard with a TV crew and the film was watched by 23 million viewers in the US.

The yard holds sentimental value to the couple who's children were born, raised and married there.

A number of Cotswolds residents also keep their horses at the yard so the pending eviction will have a knock on effect as the stables are renowned as a safe community for their horses.

The couple have set up A GoFundMe page -https://www.gofundme.com/sensis-school-the-next-chapter,  to help raise £10,000 for a new stable for their business.

Nicole said: "So far we've raised about £1,800. When we first set it up it was a bit vague but now we know it's all about finding new premises and moving all the horses so it's been updated.

"We've been given six months notice but legally it only had to be two months so he could have told us in July rather than when he did.

"If a place did come up we may need to move within a couple of months so we do need money now. It's not what we're about, we've always helped people who struggle to pay which is probably why we don't have £10,000 lying around.

"Our clients have all expressed a desire to keep the herd together, I think they all thought their horses would see out their lives here."
