RESTRICTIONS are still in place on the M4 between the A46 and M32 junctions this morning, to allow barrier repairs to be carried out following a crash on Monday.
The westbound side of the motorway was closed for much of the day on Monday following the collision which saw a lorry overturn.
This morning, a spokeperson for Highways England said: "There are now three narrow lanes and a speed restriction of 50mph in place on the M4 westbound between J18 and J19.
"Substantial repairs are required following a traffic collision that occurred on Monday.
"We have worked hard to make the scene safe and keep three lanes open."
Elsewhere, usual rush hour traffic is starting to build but there are no major problems so far.
