A FAIRFORD photographer has picked up a prestigious portrait picture award.
Photographer Peter Paredes had his image selected out of more than 4000 images in the Xperience Photography Awards 2017.
Peter said: “Last year I won The Xperience Family Photography Award, which was an amazing honour as I was chosen by professionals in the photography industry.
“So, this year, to win a consumer award chosen by real consumers is fantastic and, once again, the winning photo was in the family category.”
Xperience chief trainer, Mark Cleghorn, said: “Smart phone technology makes everyone feel like a photographer but, when the real buyers of photography reward our industry professionals, it warms my heart, as they see the difference between a snapper and a pro.”
Peter’s clients, Amanda and Duncan Baylis, were extremely happy to receive as their prize from Xperience a framed print of the Award-winning image.
To celebrate this Award, Paredes Photography is running a Wilts & Glos Standard giveaway until the end of February. To find out more, visit: www.paredesphotography.com/TheStandard.
