ALTHOUGH the snow and ice is mostly gone, heavy rain is still causing disruption across the region.
Flood alerts have been issued across the Cotswolds and Severn areas and a power cut near Stroud has left more than 400 homes without electricity.
It's wet in the south and snowy in parts of the north this morning, but many places will turn drier later today. Feeling cold for many, but milder in the southwest pic.twitter.com/cTA1RnUtSj

The poor weather is expected to continue with the Met Office issuing another weather warning for rain from Saturday evening through into Sunday morning with the organsation expecting disruption to travel as a result.
Between 15 and 25mm of rain is likely with some areas seeing as much as 30-40mm in just a few hours in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Wet conditions combined with freezing temperatures yesterday evening resulted in several incidents, including a crash on the Fromebridge Mill roundabout.
The temperature is dropping and the roads are getting icy again. Please drive with care. We have just attended a collision at Fromebridge Mill roundabout; luckily nobody was injured. #PC2448 pic.twitter.com/CPR4gLbR7Y
