FOLLOWING heavy rain and snow over the past few days flood alerts have been issued by the Environment Agency for parts of Gloucestershire.
A number of the county’s rivers levels are currently high, with some expected to break their banks and there may be flooding to low lying land and roads.
The agency will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates where situations change.
Alerts have also been issued for Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Here are the current warnings that are in place, please check to see if you will be in an affected area, as in some cases immediate action is required.
River Avon at Strensham and Bredon Flooding is expected - immediate action required
River Avon at Wyre Piddle Flooding is expected - immediate action required
Bow and Piddle Brook Flooding is possible - be prepared
Mid Bristol Avon Area Flooding is possible - be prepared
Middle Avon Rugby to Bidford Flooding is possible - be prepared
River Avon in Worcestershire Flooding is possible - be prepared
River Evenlode from Moreton in Marsh to Cassington and also the River Glyme at Wootton and Woodstock Flooding is possible - be prepared
Rivers Frome and Cam Flooding is possible - be prepared
River Leadon Catchment Flooding is possible - be prepared
River Lugg south of Leominster Flooding is possible - be prepared
River Ock from Watchfield to Abingdon, and also the Letcombe Brook at Wantage, Grove and East Hanney Flooding is possible - be prepared
River Severn in Gloucestershire Flooding is possible - be prepared
River Thames and its small tributaries from Calcutt to Lechlade Flooding is possible - be prepared
River Windrush from Bourton to Newbridge Flooding is possible - be prepared
Tributaries on the Upper River Thames above Cricklade Flooding is possible - be prepared
Upper Bristol Avon Area Flooding is possible - be prepared
