WASTE and recycling collections are happening today in the Cotswolds.
All Ubico crews are out this morning and the majority have travelled up to the Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold areas first to make the waste and recycling collections missed from yesterday.
Householders due a collection today should ensure that their bins and recycling containers are placed at the kerbside ready to be picked up.
The crews have been instructed to proceed with care because there are still patches of snow and ice which could cause problems for the vehicles and under-foot.
Anywhere which is inaccessible will be recorded on problem sheets and waste and recycling will be picked up later in the week provided it is left at the kerbside.
Residents who were missed on Monday, December 11 will be provided with a special collection on Saturday, December 16, and should place their bins and recycling containers at the kerbside by 7am on that day.
They will be able to leave extra waste for collection provided it is bagged and placed by the side of the refuse bin.
