TETBURY Ladies Luncheon Club donated £150 worth of food to its local Foodbank.
On Tuesday, club members Jenny Colyer and Barbara Lewsey went shopping in their local Tesco store to buy food to donate to Tetbury Foodbank.
The club were given a list of items the Foodbank desperately needed in the run-up to Christmas. The festive season is a time when Foodbanks need extra help to feed families as children will not be getting a school dinner during the holiday time.
Club members hope the food can be distributed to families before Christmas.
The Tetbury Ladies Luncheon Club was established 23 years ago and currently has 85 members. It meets 10 months of the year at Calcot Manor with a luncheon and a speaker.
