Sackfuls of cannabis have been found dumped by the side of a road near Stroud.
Matt Stevens, a special sergeant in the Gloucestershire police Stroud Local Policing Team, said: "Dumping rubbish is bad enough, but when it is your cannabis plants it is something else!"
The plants were packed into bin liners and later transferred into paper police evidence bags. They were found at Pitchcombe by a passer-by.
The value of the haul is not known.
