A 39-YEAR-old Pucklechurch man is to stand jury trial accused of robbing a woman of her handbag in Cirencester.
At Gloucester Crown Court last Friday, Oliver Gillespie, of Oaktree Ave, Pucklechurch, pleaded not guilty to robbing Francesca Ferro of her bag and contents in Oaklands, Cirencester, on August 6, 2017.
The defence said it will be his case that he was attacked by the alleged victim.
Judge Jamie Tabor QC remanded Gillespie pending trial on January 8, 2018.
