TWO prolific shoplifters from Cirencester have been locked up.
Ben Pullom, 35, and Dan Ross, 24, both appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates Court last week, and were given jail time.
Pullom, who was in court on July 20, was found guilty of four offences.
On February 16, he stole £61-worth of alcohol at Marks and Spencer on Dyer Street, before committing further shoplifting offences at Gardiner Haskins on April 14 on the same street.
Over a four-day period, Pullom also stole several boxes of LEGO from WHSmith’s on Castle Street, on May 10 and May 14.
He was sentenced to two weeks imprisonment for each of those four thefts, to run consecutively.
£240-worth of compensation was also awarded to the victims.
Ross went before magistrates on July 18, and was found guilty of two shoplifts, one from Tesco on July 9 and the other from Home Bargains on July 13.
He was sentenced to 10 weeks in prison for each of those offences, to run concurrently.
£100 compensation was ordered to the victims.
