Following last month's Cirencester Chamber of Commerce Awards, the Standard is profiling each winning business over the coming weeks.

WINNING the Young Enterprise award at the Chamber of Commerce Business Awards capped off a “very successful and rewarding” year for a former Cirencester College student and her business Eternity Engraving.

Daniella Keen, 22, left her fulltime job at a printing company almost two years ago to start her own venture, and hasn’t looked back.

The company, which allows people to customise engravings on metal goods like cutlery, hip flasks and jewellery, is based online but Daniella hopes to open up a shop in the town centre in the not-too-distant future.

“We were absolutely delighted that we had won,” she told the Standard.

“This year has been very successful and rewarding and winning the award was one of the best feelings and achievements we’ve had since starting up Eternity Engraving.

“Due to being mainly online, it was a real pleasure to have someone recognise the outstanding customer reviews, helpful customer service and outstanding quality of gifts we have to offer,” she said.

“The personalised text and photograph engraving we have to offer is incredible and the gifts are of exceptional quality.

“We feel very proud and honoured to have won and are excited about the future ahead of us,” she added.

In March, Daniella manned her own stall at the second annual Cirencester Youth Market in the Market Place, to help further raise the profile of her business.
