AWKWARD Hill Cottage in Bibury will be opening its garden for the National Garden Scheme.
The garden will be open on Sunday, July 2, 2-6pm and on Sunday, August 27, 6-8pm.
The garden belongs to Victoria Summerley, author of Secret Gardens of the Cotswolds.
Formerly an Independent journalist, Victoria has moved to the historic village of Bibury, where she has redesigned the garden to reflect the local landscape and to encourage wildlife.
The planting is formal and informal, and has views over the neighbouring meadow and woodland.
