A MAN who was found asleep inside a Cirencester business with a smashed window has been arrested.
The 37-year-old man from Stroud was found in CBSlade in Castle Street at 4am this morning and was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Police attended the estate agent's property after a member of the public saw someone inside.
Nothing was stolen.
Christian Slade, founder of CBSlade confirmed: "Because we’ve got such tight security in place, nothing was taken. There were no issues to client security."
Three other businesses nearby were targeted.
Plum Boutique, also in Castle Street, was broken into and had its window smashed.
In Black Jack Street, Hardcastles was entered and and untidy search of the premises was made.
Bensons for Beds in Market Place was broken into between 6pm on May 22 and 8.30am on May 23. An untidy search was made and a cash tin containing some money was taken.
Nothing else was stolen from the businesses.
