A FIGHT, which allegedly involved a violent threat to stab, broke out between teenagers in the quiet village of Kempsford.

The fight involving up to 30 15-year-olds is claimed to have happened in the High Street in Kempsford on Wednesday night, at about 8.30pm.

One resident, who witnessed part of the commotion from his window, said that he heard the argument and swearing from his home.

According to him, it is understood that the physical fight involved two boys, one local and one from outside the village.

The witness said he believed the local boy to be a pupil at Farmor's School in Fairford.

According to the resident, the boy from outside the village came into Kempsford with his friends that evening to pick an argument with a boy from the village.

There was apparently a threat to stab the Kempsford boy and it is believed that the argument was over a girl.
