THE following applications have been received by Cotswold District Council.

Bourton-on-the-Water: Farthingale, Moore Road, leylandii – fell; Duke of Wellington, Sherborne Street, western red cedar (T1) – reduce by approximately one third, yew (T2) - crown reduce by approximately 0.5 metre to retain view upstream.

Cirencester: The Dower House, Barnsley, silver birch and holly (G1) – remove; Old School House, Charlham, Farm House Lane, Ampney St Peter, weeping willow (T1) – repollard at six metres, previous pruning points; Scrubditch Farm, North Cerney, non-material amendment to 15/02712/FUL for an additional two portacabins plus relocation of the parking and poly tunnel; Rodmarton Manor, Rodmarton, ash (M1) – remove deadwood from the crown and reduce the crown by 20 per cent and cut off ivy, sycamore – cut ivy, lime x41 – repollard to just above original pollard height; Stonewold, Gloucester Road, Stratton, lawson cypress (T4, T6, T7, T11 & T13) – crown reduction and reduction in height to approximately 30 feet, silver birch (T5, T8 & T12) – crown clean and remove deadwood, silver birch (T10) – remove, weeping willow (T9, T14, T15) – pollarding to approximately 15 feet in height, tree of heaven (T16) – remove deadwood, reshape and reduce arm growing towards house to around 30 feet, all works to be carried out to promote growth of overshadowed trees, increase light to property and reduce or remove risk of injury to persons or damage to property from falling branches; 9 Ashcroft Gardens, ornamental apple tree (T1) – fell by sections to near ground level, cornus (T2) – cut all overhang back to rear boundary; 6 Bowling Green Road, proposed ground floor rear extension, extend beyond rear wall 4.3metre of the original dwelling, height to eaves 2.5metres, maximum height 3.3metres, two roof velux windows and rear bi-fold door; Ready Token House, Ready Token, new entrance access and driveway, tennis court and lake.

Fairford: The Tallet, Horcott Farm, Horcott Road, change of use to ancillary residential accommodation, compliance with conditions 4, 5, 6 and 7.

Kemble: Kemble CofE School, apple tree – fell.

Lechlade: Claydon Pike, London Road, non-material amendment to application 08/01740/REM for the relocation of car parking bays; Unit 4.25, Cladyon Pike, London Road, non-material amendment to application 08/2334/REM for the relocation of the boat berth on plot 4.25 Coln Park from the south western side of the unit to the immediate north east.

Moreton-in-Marsh: Severn House, Upper Oddington, demolition of existing dwelling, erection of replacement dwelling, pool building and ancillary outbuilding and formation of alternative access, compliance with condition 13; The Fire Service College, London Road, compliance with condition 5 of application 14/01483/OUT – residential development comprising up to 250 dwellings, internal access road, public open space and associated ancillary development.

Northleach: Walton House Court, West End, weeping ash (T1) – pollard secondary growth back to framework, maple, yew and hawthorn group (G1) – yew, rebalance to match the group, hawthorn – reduce back to previous pollarding points, maple – sever the ivy and reduce crown by 1.5-2 metres, golden cypress (T2) – remove.

Somerford Keynes, 1 Arlingdon Fields, The Street, non-material amendment to application 16/03414/FUL to revise the specification and size of roof lights into the existing kitchen facing roof at the east end of the property from 2x MK06 / 780x1180mm Velux roof lights to 2x MK04 / 780x980mm with central conservation bar, the window will be recessed into the tiled roof.

South Cerney: Two Lakes Bungalow, Oak Way, outline with all matters reserved apart from access and layout for the construction of 10 dwellings, 7x three bed and 3x four bed.

Tetbury: 1 The Park, Kingscote, removal of two 25 feet larch trees; Lasborough Park, Lasborough, retention of glasshouse, amended design to provide masonry gable and chimney stack.

Withington: Little Colesbourne Farm, creation of new access and track with agricultural and residential use, excavation to form visibility splay, erection of wrought iron railings and new gate, retrospective.
