A LAND ROVER was stolen from outside a home in Woodmancote, containing a builder’s tools which he’s accumulated over a 40-year career.
The white Defender with M registration plates was reported as missing to the police on Saturday morning (February 18).
The 64-year-old owner, who left his car at 4.30pm on the roadside outside his home in the village at 4.30pm on Friday (17) afternoon.
Inside the car were tools the man uses for his trade, including electrical tools.
“He is absolutely devastated,” said a spokeswoman for Cotswold Police. “Some of the tools were handed down to him by his father. They’re irreplaceable.”
Call the police on 101, citing incident number 98 of February 18 if you have any information.
