CIRENCESTER restaurant Made By Bob has re-opened following a major refurbishment.
The popular Market Place eatery was closed in September to carry out the the revamp which included the installation of a cocktail bar, as well as extensive work to the kitchen and dining space.
A launch event was held on Wednesday evening, with the restaurant opening officially to the public today.
Owned by chef patron Bob Parkinson, the restaurant offers a range of dishes influenced by his time at the world famous Bibendum and under Thai supremo David Thompson.
A pop-up deli takeaway and juice bar was opened next door in September to coincide with the revamp, which will also be staying open.
“It is great to be back open and back where I belong – in the kitchen,” Bob said.
“I think with the addition of the bar and the decor changes we have made, we have improved the restaurant.
"Now, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings we will be serving my take on smaller plates, snacks, that are perfect with a nice glass of wine or a cocktail.
"We have also kept the deli. Originally a pop-up it has been extremely popular and we want to give people what they want."
Made By Bob’s is open for breakfast and lunch every day except Sunday.
On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays the bar comes alive in the evenings, serving up Bob’s Bites.
