THE Christmas season is well and truly underway in Fairford, with the town’s Festive Market to take place tonight.
There will be an array of stalls, food and drink, and plenty of festive entertainment on offer.
Hatherop Castle School pupils are singing from 6pm while Santa will arrive at 6.30pm.
Performances from popular local choir Splash of Red and then the Clare Farrell School of Irish Dancing will follow, with the live entertainment topped off with the Salvation Army Band.
The town’s Christmas tree was put up on Wednesday, November 23 and the town council took to Facebook to thank all those who volunteered to help put up the lights.
Town councillor Chris Roberts tweeted yesterday, promising the market will be ‘bigger and better than last year’.
Big day in #Fairford's calendar tomorrow! The #Festive #Market. Bigger and better than last year with new street entertainers & choirs.
