CIRENCESTER kicked off the Christmas season with the Advent Festival over the weekend.
The Advent Festival, celebrated on Saturday, November 26 and organised by Cirencester Town Council, featured actor Ben Miller who switched on the Christmas lights at 7pm.
Market stalls and fair rides were set up in the town centre and crowds enjoyed live music, performances from entertainers, and a firework display by Cotswold Fireworks.
The festival brought the community together in celebration and raised valuable funds for the Christmas lights and the tree.
