A MAN who was airlifted to hospital and left in a life threatening condition after a three-car collision in Blockley on the A44 has died.

The 33-year-old driver of a red Citroen C5, from Broadway, died at Coventry Hospital on Monday, October 17.

The collision happened on the A44 southbound after the Chipping Campden turning at around 6.15am on Friday, October 14 and also involved a silver Peugeot 206 and a black Volkswagen Golf.

The driver of the Golf, a 31-year-old man, remains at Southmead Hospital in a critical but stable condition, after sustaining serious internal injuries.

Any witnesses who haven't yet spoken to police should call 101 and quote incident 42 of October 14.
