THE White Hart Inn in Ashton Keynes will be holding a fundraiser while their chef goes on holiday.
From Tuesday, October 25, to Sunday, October 30, Villagers will be cooking for 28 covers as guest chefs in the pub kitchen, and there will be a gourmet Sunday lunch for up to 50 covers.
A significant proportion of the proceeds from every meal will be donated to charities of the chefs’ choices. The pub aims to be giving away at least £1000 during the course of the week.
The guest chefs are as follows:
- Tuesday, October 25 - Richard Hatchard (senior chef at the Four Pillars Cotswold Water Park Hotel)
- Wednesday, October 26 - Landlords Rob Bayly and Abby Erauw will be putting their twist on the regular Wednesday steak night at the pub
- Thursday, October 27 - Sean
- Friday, October 28 - Ken Skehan will be serving a four course Thai menu
- Sunday, October 30 - Rob and Abby will be assisted by Ken and Val Skehan to prepare a gourmet Sunday lunch for up to 50 covers.
