FISHING lessons are being offered for free near South Cerney.
You can have a go at fishing with one-to-one tuition from fully qualified angling coaches at the Cotswold Water Park (CWP).
The event run by the South Cerney Angling Club in partnership with the CWP Trust offers free 30 minute sessions for beginners and new anglers.
Children and adults are welcome, and equipment is provided.
Lessons are available on Saturday, August 6 and Saturday, August 20 from 10am to 4.30pm.
They will take place at Lake 23, Wickwater Lane, just off the Spine Road, near South Cerney.
Places are limited and therefore booking for the lessons is essential. Call Craig Hunt to book a place: 07989 973217.
There will also be a chance for some lake dipping to learn about the diversity of wildlife living in the Cotswold Water Park, and to find out about the Golden Rules for anglers.
