AN independent crime-fighting charity is offering £1,000 for any information about anyone involved in the recent spate of arson attacks in Lechlade.

Crimestoppers is today launching a campaign in Gloucestershire to encourage more people to speak up about the four attacks occurring between May 9 and June 5, including at the Memorial Hall on Oak Street, with police investigations still ongoing.

Emily Van der Lely, Crimestoppers regional manager for Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, said: “We would urge anyone who has information about those involved in these arson attacks to share it with us 100 per cent anonymously. These attacks are a serious concern as it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

“We don’t ever take personal details, we don’t want to know your name or address and we can’t trace information given online or on the phone. You will not have to give a witness statement or go to court. You won’t even have to give up your identity to claim your reward.”

If you have any information, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through our Anonymous Online Form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
