A MOTORCYCLIST has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision in Lechlade.
A 66-year-old man was knocked off his motorbike by a blue Renault on the A361 at around 11.45am yesterday (June 19).
He was airlifted to Great Western Hospital in Swindon with serious injuries, including a collapsed lung and broken ribs.
The blue Renault, which reportedly had a loud exhaust, was witnessed driving off at speed along Hambridge Lane after colliding with the motorcyclist, who was travelling in the opposite direction.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to call police on 101 quoting incident 171 of June 19.
