STAFF and residents of a Bourton-on-the-Water care home stepped out in style to raise money for a friendly bar and cafe as part of their dementia care.
The members of Kemble household at Jubilee Lodge organised and undertook the sponsored five-mile fancy dress walk on Saturday (May 21), setting off at around 10.30am, taking in Bourton lakes and the village centre.
Dawn Dewe, activities coordinator, said the walk had been organised to coincide with Dementia Awareness Week: "We feel these changes will enhance the well-being of the individuals who live there and also family and friends when they visit," she said.
