A TEENAGER has been arrested in connection with the suspected arson of Lechlade Memorial Hall.
Police arrested the 16-year-old Lechlade boy at about 10.30am today and he is currently being interviewed by officers.
Information about the boy came from members of the community and police are appealing for anyone else who can help to come forward.
The well-loved hall, just off the A361, was burnt down in the early hours of May 9.
Police are treating the incident as arson after a burnt-out wheelie bin was found pushed up against on of its walls.
The council uses the hall as its base and they were left without any of their records, files or computers.
It is also used by dozens of groups and many were left counting the costs after equipment went up in flames.
The hall was also used as a day centre for old people.
