POLICE are looking into an incident where a dog appears to be strapped onto the back of a motorbike.
The incident was sighted in Bishop's Cleeve near the Capita Life and Pensions building at about 6pm yesterday, April 27, by a motorist who was concerned about the safety of the dog.
The photo shared to police appeared to show a collie dog strapped onto the back of the motorbike.
The motorbike appears to have been headed towards the Tewkesbury direction
Police said: "The incident was called to us and we are looking into it and making further enquiries.
"We would not advise that anyone transport their dog like that."
Cotswold Police also tweeted today: "While you may want to take your dog somewhere new, we don't advise this method of transportation! Incident 403 of April 27, 2016."
