OFFICERS searching for Gloucestershire missing man, Philip Lee, have found a body.
The body of a man was discovered at around 7.30pm yesterday (February 4) in Horsley near Nailsworth.
The death is being treated as unexplained at this time, whilst enquiries are ongoing.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but Philip’s next of kin have been informed.
Philip, 65, was last seen by his wife at around 9am on Thursday when he left the house to walk his dogs.
The dogs returned to the property in Horsley but Philip was nowhere to be seen.
A police spokesman, talking prior to the discovery of the body, said: "This is out of character for Philip and police and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare."
