  • CHILDREN from St Andrew's School and Chedworth singers join forces to perform iSingPOP fun and meaningful songs for all ages at St Andrews Church this afternoon at either 2.15pm or 6.15pm for a community concert.

There will also be the opportunity to purchase a copy of St Andrew’s School’s very own CD at the event.

  • APPROXIMATELY 12 people attended the Chedworth Development Plan meeting at the village hall last week to hear Helen Richards of GRCC outline the next stages of implementing a plan for the development of the village over the next 10 to 20 years.

Ian Morgan was appointed as co-ordinator and chairman of the embryo committee and it is now for the parish council to decide whether to proceed with the plan process at the meeting on Monday.

  • A POSSIBLE need for a new housing needs survey was discussed at the Development Plan meeting as the last two surveys showed a need for 30 and 14 properties yet Bromford are selling a threebed house at “The Hemplands,” a much sought after location, as being surplus to their requirements.
  • THE parish council meets in the games room at the village hall this Monday at 7.30pm.

The regular Monday Whist Drive will be at Bibury this Monday due to the parish council meeting being in the village hall games room.

  • THE WI has an open meeting with wildlife photographer Adam Tatlow on Wednesday, February 10.

Non-members are welcome to attend for a £1 admission fee to include tea and cake at 7.45pm for 8pm.

  • FIBRE broadband provider Gigaclear has been asking people to avoid the Calmsden Road as their cable laying works are likely to cause long delays.
  • TUNS Hill has reopened following a reduction in rainfall rather than the successful cure of the partially blocked culvert, which GCC highways has tried to repair.
