A CIRENCESTER university is set to host the town's third Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile on March 20.

Local heroes from Forest Green Rovers are just some of the locals who will be walking and running to raise life-changing money, starting at the Atrium café and taking in 25 acres of the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) grounds.

Mark Long, RAU gym manager, said: “The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile in Cirencester is here and it’s your time to walk or run yourself proud.

“From little ones with their mums and dads, to runners up against the clock there’s something for everyone to make themselves feel proud on this special day.”

Sport Relief events will take place across the country from March 18–20 and there are more ways than ever for residents to take part, change lives and feel proud.

Half of all the money raised by the public is spent right here at home in the UK, with the other half used to make a difference in the world’s poorest communities.
