CAR vandals appear to have struck in Cirencester, after several cars were reportedly scratched on Watermoor Road on Sunday night (January 31), as well as one on Trinity Road.
Resident Ben Preece, whose wife Barbara's blue Nissan Qashqai was scratched on Watermoor Road, told the Standard that five cars had been damaged along his street.
The acts of vandalism are similar to those which occured on October 16 when reportedly 21 cars were scratched with keys between Querns Road and Bridge Road.
Ben, 38, said he has reported the incident. "I want the police to take notice," he added.
Cotswold Police Sergeant Garrett Gloyne said they had received two reports from residents yesterday (February 1) in regards to vandal attacks to their cars on Watermoor Road.
He said there has also been a third report today (February 2) of a Land Rover in Trinity Road which has severe scratches to a number of its panels.
Sgt. Gloyne urged anyone who saw anything suspicious to call 101, and quote incident number 87 of February 1 or incident number 115 of February 2, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
