HEAR ye, hear ye! In a hark back to times gone by, Fairford’s town crier will be be taking to the streets once a month to advertise the town’s goings on.
In a Fairford Tourism Group initiative town crier and Plough Inn landlord Rob Blake will be donning his robes at 10am on the last Wednesday of every month and crying the events coming up over the next four weeks.
Organisers hope the exhibition will alert residents and tourists to events on in the town and could become a major visitor attraction.
