LEA and Garsdon Primary School will soon be having regular visits from a dog and her owner.
King Charles cavalier Ruby and her owner Kerry are registered with Pets As Therapy, a charity that provides both young and old with therapeutic visits from dogs, where they are given the pleasure of cuddling and talking to the animals.
The school is hoping that as many children as possible will be able to read to Ruby and Kerry through the charity’s READ2DOGS programme.
