GOLF balls designed to poke fun at Labour leader candidate Jeremy Corbyn are creating a lot of laughs in Cirencester.
Nigel Massey, who lives near Cricklade, is not a fan Mr Corbyn's policies, so as a joke decided to print his face on the balls and give them to his friends at Cirencester golf club.
But golfers struggled to hit the greens with the balls and most have were returned to Nigel along with tongue and cheek messages such as “Corbyn’s balls are unplayable as they end up in the rough,” “I don't want to touch Corbyn's balls” and “they shank to the left.”
Mr Massey, chairman of London based PR firm Massey Partnership, said: “I am not a big fan of the chap and I thought it would be quite funny. It wasn’t nasty it was just a gag.”
So far eight of the 12 balls Mr Massey made up have been returned and he has sent out words of advice to those who may discover the others on the course.
He said: “If you find him in the rough, leave him there.”
