A CIRENCESTER father and son together with a Gloucester man, have admitted conspiracy to supply cocaine and are to be sentenced next month.

At Gloucester crown court on Friday Jason Daniels, 43, of Querns road, Cirencester, and Marvin Anderson, 33, of Jasmine close, Abbeydale, both pleaded guilty to conspiring with others to supply the drug between April 16 and September 12 last year.

Daniels' father, Michael, 66, of Lawrence Road, Cirencester, had already admitted the same charge at an earlier hearing.

On Friday,  Jason Daniels also admitted possessing cannabis on September 3 last year while Anderson pleaded guilty to possession of £6,600 in cash on September 3 knowing it was proceeds of crime.

Julian Kesner, prosecuting, said Anderson's admission was on the basis that he supplied between between 1-3 ozs of the drug to Jason Daniels on about ten occasions.

He accepted, he said, that the total amount of the drug supplied to Jason was about half a kilo.

Paul Grumbar, for Jason, told the court that his client is currently 'in a terrible state' - partly because of drinking but primarily because of the recent break-up of his relationship.

"He is very, very tearful," said Mr Grumbar.

Mr Kesner said the Crown case against Michael Daniels is that he played a 'significant' role in assisting his son in the conspiracy.

Judge Tabor agreed to grant all three men bail pending sentence on June 19 at 2pm.

He said there was little point in ordering pre-sentence reports on Jason Daniels or Anderson because it was inevitable they would be going to prison. He has however ordered a pre-sentence report on Michael Daniels.

However he told Michael not to build up his hopes because it was a serious case and he, too, faces jail on June 19.
