A BANK in Gloucestershire has been targeted by a gang of thieves who made off with thousands of pounds after an early morning raid.

Gloucestershire Police are appealing for help following the burglary at a bank in Gloucester.

During the early hours of Saturday morning, between 3am and 3.15am, a bank in Glenville Parade, Hucclecote was broken into and thousands of pounds were stolen.

The robbers smashed windows and then broke into an ATM before escaping in a dark coloured saloon car.

Police are looking for 3, possibly 4, offenders headed towards Brockworth and the M5 in the car.

All the men wore dark coloured clothing and they were heard speaking in English.

Police would like to hear from anyone who heard or noticed any suspicious activity in the vicinity, or saw a dark coloured car parked up or making off from the scene.
