FREE mindfulness sessions will be coming to Cirencester later this month for mental health awareness week.

The Churn Project, which aims to improve the quality of life and wellbeing for Cirencester residents, has recently teamed up with Ridgeway Mindful Psychology (RMP), to offer free mindfulness sessions this from May 14.

RMP’s counselling psychologist Lizzie Cambray said: "We can spend nearly all our lives planning or worrying about the future, or dwelling in the past, but our well-being depends on our knowing how to come back to the present with calmness, and without overwhelming fear.

"It can be liberating to savour a sense of simply being present."

The free fortnightly drop-in sessions at The Churn’s centre in The Waterloo, will be led by Lizzie.

RMP is a not-for-profit organisation with a base in Cirencester.
