A MAN from Stow-on-the-Wold was pushed to the ground and kicked in the face during a three on one mugging last weekend.
Police are appealing fot witnesses to the attack, which happened between 10.30pm and 11pm on Saturday night.
The victim, a local man in his 30s, was attacked as he walked home between The Bell pub and the pedestrian crossing on Oddington Road.
Three men pushed him from behind and kicked him in the face when he fell to the ground.
The thieves made off with his black Adidas shoulder bag, described as having a gold Adidas emblem on it.
The bag contained documents, a debit card and tobacco. The only description of the offenders is that they are white.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the case is urged to call 101, quoting incident 19 of 26 April.
