AN APPEAL has been put out by Gloucestershire Police to track down a man who attacked a woman riding a mobility by putting his arm around her neck and shouting abuse at her.
On Friday night at around 7.20pm a woman was riding herr motability scooter along Princess Elizabeth Way towards Orchard Avenue in Cheltenham when the man struck.
The woman managed to kick the man and he fell over allowing her to ride away.
The man is described as white, approximately 5' 4" tall, of medium build and aged in his late twenties to early thirties.
He was wearing a dark coloured hoodie, with a hood up, and a scarf wrapped around the lower half of his face. He was wearing black jogging bottoms with white stripes and he had rubber like gloves on.
Gloucestershire Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the attack or recognises the description of the man. Please call 101 quoting incident number 436 of 20th March 2015.
