ORGANISERS of the Northleach Charter Fair and Music Festival have said that this year will “be the best ever”.

The 788-year-old event, which gives all proceeds to charity, will include a children’s entertainer, funfair rides, a giant BBQ and music in the evening.

It is free to park and enter and will take place at King George V playing fields from 11am to 11pm on Saturday, June 27.

Event Organiser Linda Seaton said: “We’re looking to build on the tremendous success of last year’s Charter Fair, ensuring more clubs and groups are involved to entertain at the Fair and to give greater exposure for charities and local businesses with the opportunity to run more stalls during the day. This, we hope, will provide a mix of entertainment to appeal to everyone.

We’re sure this is set to be a truly memorable Charter Fair: a fun day out for the whole family. We want to make this the best ever Charter Fair.”

There is still time and space for stallholders, exhibitors and those wishing to promote their services, products or charities to sign up. Please contact Joyce Hiller on e-mail charterfair@hotmail.co.uk to receive details on how and where to sign up.
