A SCAMMER is being sought by Gloucestershire Police after reports of pubs and shops being conned in the Cotswolds.
The man is reported to have entered businesses in Bourton-on-the-Water and Moreton-in-Marsh on Wednesday and ordered either coffee or half a pint of beer.
The man paid with a £10 note, then told staff that he gave them a £20 - and in all cases was given an extra £10 in change.
At this time it is believed 7 establishments have been victim to this criminal.
He is described as a white male aged 40-50 years old with short black hair, speaking with a Liverpool accent.
Police are appealing for witnesses, anyone who may have seen this man and what he was doing, to contact 101 quoting incident 323 and 400 of 25/02/15.
