STUDENTS from the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) in Cirencester joined forces with the town mayor on the weekend to tackle a pressing litter problem.
Cllr Joe Harris met up with students on Sunday, February 1 to pick up rubbish in Watermoor Road and Tetbury Road as part of the RAU community projects.
Student union and community project officer Rupert Preston said: "It was hard work, but really good to be able to do something for the community and we enjoyed getting to know the mayor."
