GLOUCESTERSHIRE Fire and Rescue Service were called to rescue a cat from a tree earlier this week.
Just before 11am on Friday a crew of four firefighters was sent to Old Bath Road in Cheltenham to rescue the animal.
The cat was reported to the firefighters by the RSPCA, who claimed that the animal had been stuck in the tree for two days.
After half an hour the cat was rescued uninjured but it was reportedly very distressed by the situation.
